sustainable design
Sustainable design evaluates the environmental performance from a whole building perspective. The design of environmentally friendly Mechanical and Electrical systems often incorporates long-term, energy efficient and cost effective solutions.
return
The design of environmentally friendly Mechanical and Electrical systems often incorporates long-term, energy efficient and cost effective solutions. The design of energy conserving Mechanical and Electrical systems in new construction or major renovations projects typically ranges from selection of fuel sources, through the selection of energy efficient equipment, to commissioning of finished installation for sustainable operation in the future. The design meets or exceeds Model National Energy Code, ASHRAE 90.1 and often can qualify for LEED or Green Globes certification. -
energy analysis
Energy analysis is used for evaluating the efficiency of the Mechanical and Electrical systems and in preparing energy budgets. The analysis can evaluate influence of energy saving technologies such Building Automation System, lighting control, or solar energy. In all analysis of this type, an accurate load profile for all types of energy consumed is crucial for the determination of an energy budget. Computerized modeling of energy usage is cross referenced and verified with the actual building energy bills to accurately forecast future energy cost for the proposed new or modified Mechanical and Electrical systems. Comparing predicted energy savings with estimated capital cost of the installation allows the selection of optimal Mechanical and Electrical systems that offer the best return on investment.

studies and reports
The need of feasibility study or building condition report is usually born when building changes owners, equipment reaches end of service life, or there is a desire for a fresh approach to ongoing problem. The study or report allows independent professional evaluation before informed investment decision is made. Typically, studies and reports are often the first phase of many types of projects, or are needed when an engineering problem presents itself. . Initially, an investigation into the problem starts the process, which leads to the development of alternative solutions, a definition of proposed scope and a project budget. Another type of studies is forensic investigations that provide an expert opinion of reason of equipment failure, or pre-start safety reviews for the new industrial process or procedure of equipment operation.
